Fried foods and prostate cancer / Cibi fritti e tumore prostatico

Regular intake of select deep-fried foods (French fries, fried chicken, fried fish, doughnuts and snack chips) is associated with increased prostate cancer risk. A potential mechanisms may be the formation of carcinogenic agents (aldehydes, acrolein, heterocyclic amines, polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbons, and acrylamide).
